We had a very successful year with our Godin Guitar Raffle. Our thanks and appreciation to Godin Guitars of La Patrie, Quebec for their continuing support and generosity in providing three beautiful instruments for our raffle.
There was much excitement over the instruments and the incredible talent displayed by Godin endorsors Bobby Gibson and Brooks E.Robertson as they shared their gifts on both the City Park and Contest Stage at the High School. They were joined by Mexico's Miguel De Hoyos on Friday evening to provide a rare blending of the artists' unique styles.
These instruments were raffled off Saturday evening at the Contest Stage, with GODIN GUITARS representative Duane Hess drawing the winning tickets.
The winners were:
1) Godin Showcase Rosewood Guitar with TRIC case
Mickey Keim of Payette, Idaho
2) Art & Luthier Cedar Ami Blue Parlor-style guitar with gig bag
Joe Young of Spangle, Wa.
3) Godin A8 Electric Acoustic Mandolin
Josh Bohannah ( residence to be determined)
Congratulations to our lucky winners! We thank each of you who purchased tickets to help support our event. We are looking forward to seeing you all next year here in beautiful little Weiser, Idaho!
